Your Tax Dollars at Work: GA Sheriff’s Deputy Allegedly Sold/Pawned 3 Department Issued Weapons

A Whitfield County, GA deputy is in hot water after allegedly selling and/or pawing as many as 3 issued weapons.
These include a rifle, shotgun and handgun.
Police were able to recover one of the weapons and believe that the cost to replace the others would run about $2500.
The deupty has been placed on administrative leave while the incidents are investigated.
Until now the deputy has had no other disciplinary issues.
