Marines at Presidential Inauguration Marched With Guns With Bolt Completely Removed

Noted gun rights blogger, David Codrea, has reported that the Marines who marched at President Obama’s 2013 inauguration did so with rifles whose bolts had been completely removed.

This is different than other past inaugurations where military members used guns that may have been disabled, but were mostly intact.

Someone in a high up position made the decision that the Marines at this year’s inauguration would march with rifles that were visibly disabled.

I guess the administration wants to show they don’t trust anyone except their people to have anything that even looks like a working gun as part of a national ceremony.
