While some high profile politicians of Jewish background, such as New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, might give the impression that those in the Jewish community are anti-gun, that really couldn’t be further from the truth.

Many people with Jewish backgrounds recognize the persecution Jews have faced throughout history and take their self defense very seriously.

Case in point, the JPFO (Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership) is raffling off four DPMS AR-15 rifles with custom engraving (seen above).

Here are the details from their website:

Now you can own one of the most politically incorrect rifles of our time (four available), for just $20 a ticket, and only 500 tickets per rifle – pretty good odds!. Multiple chance purchases are welcome!

The drawing will be held in Arizona as each set of 500 tickets sells out. (The last draw sold out in only 5 days!)

Rifles are DPMS AP-4’s, flat top with detachable carry handle, 1 count 30 round magazine, and collapsible 6-position stock. Caliber .223 Rem/5.56 NATO.

NOTE – Your debit or credit card statement will be your receipt (along with your email purchase confirmation if ordered on line), unless you specifically ask to have one mailed to you. Each chance purchased is attached to a half ticket, with the other half being kept to go into the “draw drum” for draw time. Go to the JPFO store to purchase your chance or chances, or call the JPFO main office on (800) 869-1884.

All state, federal, and local laws will be strictly complied with. Guns will ship from Arizona to the FFL of your choice, freight paid. Residents of Ca., De., Ct., NY, NJ.,Wi., Ma., Md., and Co., are ineligible to purchase tickets. Void in any state where banned by law. Three attempts will be made to contact each winner, after which a new winner will be selected, so please be sure your contact information is accurate.
