Boehner danced around questions on whether any gun bill to make it out of the Senate would even be brought up for a vote in the House.

Speaking after a House Republican meeting he said, “We’ll wait and see what the Senate does. It’s one thing for two members to come to some agreement, it doesn’t substitute the will [of] the other 98 members, and so we’ll wait and see what the Senate does.”

Boehner was speaking about the supposed “compromise” on universal background checks reached by Senator Toomey (R) and Senator Manchin (D).
