NRA Members Strongly Oppose New Gun Laws, Only 5% Want Universal Background Checks

According to a poll of 1000 NRA members from across the country, NRA members strongly oppose any new gun regulations.

Well, we probably could have told them that.

We keep hearing that most gun owners are OK with magazine limits and universal background checks (which would essentially outlaw private person to person sales), however those measures are strongly opposed by NRA members 82.7% and 92%, respectively.

So when people keep telling you that most gun owners approve of new regulations, which will only make it harder on law abiding gun owners, point them to this poll.
