Kansas Concealed Carriers Commit Fewer Crimes Than Other Citizens
Only 44 concealed carry license holders of the over 51,000 in the state have committed a crime since the permit process was put in place in 2007. Of those 44 only 17 have had their permits revoked due to crimes committed.
The rate at which concealed carry holders commit crimes is far lower than that of the general population.
This is a direct refute to the arguments made by anti carry advocates who say that firearms carry makes a person more likely to use a firearm during an argument, road rage incident, etc. Obviously people who legally carry firearms are far more law abiding than the average person on the street.
