Anthony Colandro is a co-host of Gun For Hire Radio, Executive Vice President of the NJ NRA affiliate organization, The Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs, Inc., and owner of a shooting range/training facility.

Colandro is also the found of the New Jersey “I Will Not Comply” movement.

Colandro addresses the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee on Senate Bill 993 which would lower the number of rounds a magazine could hold from 15 to 10.

Colandro points out that if only a small percentage of New Jersey’s gun owners refuse to comply with the new law, which seems like it is on its way to easily passing, that it will cost the state tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars per year to handle the new felons that will be created by the law.

Colandro publicly states that he will not comply with the new law if it is passed and signed into law.

In case you’re wondering, Colandro’s great speech had little effect on the committee who passed the bill by 3 to 2 party line vote.

The real question here, and something that many people want to see, is whether Republican Governor Chris Christie will sign the bill when it reaches his desk.

It’s no secret Christie might be considering a 2016 run for the White House and he would certainly need the support of the gun owning population to have a chance.

Christie has been a mixed bag on guns so far. Last year, following Sandy Hook, Chritie pushed for some gun restrictions and then turned around and vetoed some anti-gun legislation that reached his desk.
