Share This Post is reporting that the US Senate has passed a bill opting the United States out of the proposed UN Arms Treaty.

It was a rare bipartisan support of the Second Amendment.

“We’re negotiating a treaty that cedes our authority to have trade agreements with our allies in terms of trading arms,” Sen. James Inhofe said. “This is probably the last time this year that you’ll be able to vote for your Second Amendment rights.”

The vote was tied to an amendment to the budget and passed the Democratic controlled Senate 53-46.

Good job senators, for once.
