I made the above video before this most recent weekend of violence was even announced in the gun control capital of Chicago, IL.

According to media reports, from a period starting Friday afternoon and extending through the end of May 5th, 5 people were killed and 31 were injured in the Windy City.

Fortunately, in recent months, we’ve seen the gun control situation in Chicago start to improve.

The city got rid of their gun registry, the courts ruled that the city has to allow gun sales within city limits and the state of Illinois passed a law that will allow residents to carry firearms for the first time (even if that law did end up being somewhat neutered).

The mainstream media continues to ignore the string of violence by criminals using firearms in a city that, at one point, had some of the strictest gun laws in the country.

If 5 people were killed and 31 were wounded by 1 guy with a rifle in a 4 day period you can bet your paycheck that it would be part of the 24 hours news cycle for weeks if not months to come.

According to the local media, no arrests had been made in ANY of the shootings as of Monday.

The same police department who is so against law abiding citizens carrying firearms can’t make any arrests in well over a dozen crimes.
