Numerous Coloradans descended on the state legislature Monday to protest the numerous new gun laws being pushed through the Colorado capitol.

Numerous Second Amendment supporter lined the halls and many more circled the capitol building in their cars blaring their horns and displaying American and Gadsden flags.

The protest was taking place as people involved in all of the mass shootings in the last 2 years were testifying before the state lawmakers.

Of note Mark Kelly – “Rights demand responsibility,” Kelly said, adding that both he and Giffords are gun owners. “And this right does not extend to criminals. … When dangerous people get guns, we are all vulnerable. At the movies, at church, conducting our everyday business, meeting with a government official and — time after time after time — at school, on our campuses and in our children’s classrooms.”

We’d like to point out that all of those places are so called ‘gun free zones’ in many states.

It’s good to see that there are still good people in the state of Colorado opposing these new measures.
