On the lighter side of the news, 18 year old British student Jack Streat is making Internet waves by building life size, functional replicas of popular guns using only Legos.

The weapons fire small projectiles similar to toy Nerf guns.

Streat has published a book with step by step instructions on how to build the replicas that has sold over 4,000 copies.

Streat says it can cost around $100 per gun for the construction.

Many people have said they would buy kits directly from Lego is they were to offer them.

Sadly, this is pretty much one of the only ways British firearms enthusiasts can enjoy this style of weapon.v
