moms_mayorsA little do as I say not as I do? Pretty much par for the course for the anti-gun side of things.

Erika Soto Lamb, Comms director for Everytown for Gun Safety (includes Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action), responded to a tweet from pro-gun journalist Dana Loesch on Twitter and acknowledged something that should be surprising, but really isn’t – Moms Demand Action’s team in Indianapolis is enjoying the NRA Annual Meeting with an armed security team.

So armed security huh? Who know who else gets random online threats? Me, and I’m sure Dana does as well. You know what I (and I’m pretty sure Dana as well) do about it? I take responsibility for my own safety and carry a firearm, as I do everyday, threats or not.

To clarify, I think that the Moms Demand Action folks are completely within their rights to employ armed security if they so choose, I just think it’s extremely hypocritical.

Here is a video of the incident that started the whole conversation above. Dana Loesch tried to get Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action, to clarify some statements. Dana was ignored by Watss and rebuffed by her security team.

Loesch told The Blaze that she was physically pushed by the security team.

You stay Classy Moms Demand Action.
