Joe Biden: Gun Control Laws Won’t Help, but We Have to do Something Anyway
In today’s Words of Wisdom With Joe Biden, Joe addresses the why of new gun control laws.
“Nothing we’re going to do is going to fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting or guarantee that we will bring gun deaths down to 1,000 a year from what it is now,” Biden told reporters Thursday afternoon after he spent over an hour lunching with Democratic senators at the Capitol.
“But there are things that we can do, demonstrably can do, that have virtually zero impact on your Second Amendment right to own a weapon for both self defense and recreation that can save some lives,” he said.

Hey dip shit. Are you stupid or what? What makes you think, that disarming americans and dstroying the second ammendment is doing something… Frigging moron.
If they would actually enforce the laws already on the books, and actually prosecuted offenders, instead of letting them plea bargain a much leaner sentence, just letting them walk, giving them reduced sentences, there wouldn’t be a lot of the shootings taken place now, and if they actually would do something about the mentally ill, instead of just ignoring them.
“…we have to do something.” Perhaps so, but it doesn’t mean more laws have to be created. What about the 2,000 gun laws already on the books, are they all obsolete? Are all of them being actively enforced? Perhaps if these couple thousand gun laws were brought to light and the dust wiped off, then maybe there may not be a need to add even more laws. There is a human tendency to over react to an adverse action that has hit a nerve and caused a “knee-jerk” reaction that would be the wrong way to go. It’s also very human to think that the solution for everything lies in passing more laws and the more laws there are the better people will act and the more laws the more Peace there will be. I’m here to inform those who think this way, that you are completely 100% wrong! Because that Peace people are looking for doesn’t lie in any law or legislation, way of Government, lifestyle, or Religion, because it lies in only one place and that place is inside each person. Yes, Peace, is built inside of each human being as standard equipment and all a person has to do is be shown how to connect to that Peace and once a person makes that connection to who they really are then their life can be filled with Peace. But, until a person makes that connection they will continue to live their life in the state of confusion spending each and every nonrefundable breath they are given on things that are not real and will never give them what they are truly looking for.
Nothing and I mean nothing will stop people from killing. Snap your fingers and guns don’t exist, and people will still kill each other. If you think “mass” shootings are bad, just wait until we are slaves and the mentally deficient start using bombs. People have been killing each other since the dawn of time, and nothing will stop that. Attacking our liberties only takes away our ability to defend ourselves. Anyone that wants to live in a place where guns are outlawed need only to move to any other country on this planet. You will not be safe from gun violence, but you will have the fuzzy warm feeling you seek until you realize the true dangers you have brought on yourself. Anyone that wants my guns come and get them…… I dare you.
I hope you’re kidding. Everyone keeps going on about ‘mass murder’ like that’s all guns are used for all the time. There are exponentially more lives that are defended by law-abiding citizens with guns than there are lives taken with them.
Look at Chicago.. they have had a handgun ban in place for years and years. You have to get a FOID card to own any firearm legally and they make it a pain to buy a long gun. Yet somehow, they aren’t far off of being the gun-murder capital of the US.. 500+ last year, 700+ projected for this year.
So do me a favor, go walk around Chicago at night and just tell everyone that they can’t have their handguns because they’re illegal. I’m sure you won’t need a firearm to protect yourself. Let me know when your wake is, I’d like to pray for intelligence in your next life.
