Peirs Morgan has been making headlines recently for his outspoken anti gun political stance.

His grandstanding however has not helped his ratings.

His show’s ratings, along with the rest of CNN’s prime-time lineup still trails behind competitors, MSNBC and Fox News.

The New York Post is reporting that Morgan may be moved to a late night slot, either 10:00pm or 11:00pm.

Morgan’s current contract with CNN expires next year.

Many pro gun groups and individuals have called for a boycott of Morgan’s show in recent weeks given his extremely biased style of “debate” with pro gun guests and his questionable statistics related to gun violence and self defense.

A petition to deport Morgan for his stance on the Second Amendment amassed over 60,000 signatures on the White House’s official petition website, prompting a response from the White House.
