Anti Gun Congresswoman Thinks Gun Magazines Can Only Be Used Once

I’m just going to let the above video and the following quote speak for itself.

“I will tell you these are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available,” said Rep. Diana DeGette (D) at a Denver Post gun control forum.

DeGette has been the lead sponsor on multiple proposed magazine bans in Congress, but it seems she doesn’t even understand how magazine fed guns work.

Just in case someone else out there doesn’t understand this, a gun magazine can easily be reloaded thousands of times, and even if the magazine spring does wear out, it is easily replaced with a new spring.
