America’s Veterans Are Being Systematically Disarmed by the VA Without Due Process of Law

According to WesternJournalism.com, America’s veterans all over the country are receiving letters from the Department of Veterans Affairs declaring them incompetent for a variety of reasons. WesternJournalism.com is continuing to investigate the reasons for these rulings, but they postulate that the reasons could be a PTSD diagnosis, loss of limbs, head injury or depression.
The letters contain the following warning as well.
“A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both pursuant to the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, Pub.L.No. 103-159, as implemented at 18, United States Code 924(a)(2).”
That’s right, according to WesternJournalism.com, America’s heroes, who fought for the freedoms we enjoy, are being deprived of those freedoms due to their service!
We will continue to monitor the investigation and bring you new information as we get it.
For no head over to WesternJournalism.com and check out their current report on the matter.

I am currently in a va hospital where I had surgury. I have always refused to converse with anyone here who is connected in any way with mental health. Hell, I suppose doing THAT could cause me to get one of those letters.
If they did that without interviewing you then that could be a case for a malparactice suit and a defamation suit. Since being labeled as incompetant could have a greater profound negative impact on your life besides firearm ownership. Thanks for serving!!!!
You are also violating there right to due process! They should be metally evauted first. And yes I think this is wrong!! We need to know who is making these decisions, and who is voting these things in. So we can elect to terminate them come voting time. At the time of elections I would like to see a list of the people who voted in anything on gun control and what that did to our rights! I am ready to start firing some people!!
Makes two of us.
This is exactly what this administration and those sleepers on the right in positions of power have in mind. “Oh, won’t let us take them away outright? Ok, we’ll legislate your ability to own them under the guise of mental health”
“Unconstitutional laws arent laws !!”
They may as well arrest me…and imprison me…hey Obama, you low-down, non-citizen, usurper and liar! I don’t recognize your authority, nor your authority under anylaw or executive order!@ I am going to BUY FIREARMS…LOTS OF THEM…TO DEFEND MYSELF FROM YOUR ILLEGAL ACTS!
they will take our gun,s just like all our rights, both Party’s are playing good cop bad cop
Global Governance , the George Soros and the powers of the NWO, people won,t wake up until the door slams shut in the cement shower
this was part of Obama care ,along with the new tax, people in this Country deserve what they get, what does it take for these left wing idiots to wake the F up
There are two reasons why this is so bad. First, you are taking away rights of those who sacrificed most for those rights. And it isn’t just about guns, they will also take the money you need and “manage it” for you. The VA system is slow enough, those who need it most don’t need another layer of bureaucracy to get through.
The second reason this policy is a nightmare, is potential alienation of those who need help. Many of us Vets have varying degrees of PTSD. After years of war and multiple deployments into combat zones, it is hard to find someone who isn’t affected. But we all deal with it. Successfully. It is part of the price we continue to pay, and accept. But from time-to-time, some need a little help. By putting in place a policy where you could lose your right to manage your benefits and lose your right to own a gun (which most of us do), you create incentives for those vets NOT to seek help when they need it. Avoiding the issues that need addressing only aggravates the situation. Plus you have a trained, armed person that could be potentially dangerous. Don’t create a system where those who need the help most, are afraid to use it.
