Well over 700 teachers and school administrators attended a gun safety, law, and live fire course in the state of Texas.

It is expected many of the educators will go on to get their concealed carry permit.

Several school districts in Texas already allow for concealed carry by licensed educators and many other have pending proposals to allow it.

Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who was murdered earlier this year, was part of the original planning of the course and his legacy is living on through its success.

According to Fox News,

“It went from 20 to 30 teachers to the more than 700 we have here today. It just exploded with Chris’ involvement,” Dalworthington Gardens Police Chief Bill Waybourn told the paper.
